Inside Karrueche Tran's Love Life, Was She in a Relationship with Chris Brown?

Karrueche Tran's relationship status in 2021: She and Chris Brown were in a relationship for five years. 

Best known as Vivian Johnson from the BlipTv series The Bay, Karrueche Tran is an actress and model. She took home two Daytime Emmy Awards for producing the series and one more Emmy for Outstanding Performance by a lead actress.  

Born on May 17, 1988, in Los Angeles, California, Tran ventured into showbiz from the fashion industry as a personal shopper, making her way into the celebrity circle as a celebrity stylist. However, Tran's breakthrough in the industry came when her name was linked with R & B singer Chris Brown.  

Who is Karrueche Tran dating in 2021?  

The actress/model is not dating anyone currently. After breaking up with former New York Giants' Victor Cruz, Tran, who is now newly single, reports she is done with men. Tran and Cruz started dating in 2017, and they made an adorable but low-key couple. It is unknown when the couple called it quits, but sources speculate in Janaury 2021.

Tran, 33, Cruz, 35, were first pictured holding hands in LA in December 2017. The couple didn't respond to the dating rumors immediately, but an insider revealed they had been friends for a long time before they took their relationship up a notch. Amid the Covid inflicted chaos and restrictions last year, Cruz said he and Tran were quarantining separately. Cruz said they "probably talk 20 hours a day on FaceTime."

Victor Michael Cruz is a native of Paterson. He played college football at UMass, and in 2010, he signed the Giants as an undrafted free agent. After six seasons with Giants, Cruz announced his retirement in 2017 and joined ESPN as an analyst. A source said the estranged couple is focused on their respective career. The Bay alum is seemingly done with relationships and men in general.

"Cutting men out of my diet next year," the actress wrote in an Instagram story. Tran also hosted an Instagram Live, where she made her sentiments clear. "I just feel like there's so much power in being alone, being content with being alone, and not being dependant on a man for validation," the Claw actress said. Hence, we can safely conclude the diva won't be seen romancing with anyone for a while.

Karrueche and Chris Brown's relationship may seem like an age-old story, given the two started dating over a decade ago, but the duo's rollercoaster-like relationship will never be forgotten, as it involved another big star in the play, you guessed it right, Rihana. Tran and Brown dated on and off for four years amid Brown's rekindling romance with Rihana.

Tran broke up with Brown in March 2015 and announced the split herself, leaving no room for ridiculous media speculations. It was after she found Brown had fathered a child, Royalty Brown, with Nia Guzman. Tran tweeted, "Listen, one can only take so much. The best of luck to Chris and his family. No baby drama for me."
