Breaking: Kelly Clarkson finally reaches their divorce settlement with Brandon Blackstock!

In the latest update on the couple, the estranged spouses have finally reached their divorce settlement. Kelly Clarkson, 39, filed for divorce from Brandon Blackstock, 45, who she was married to for nearly seven years, in June 2020. The former American Idol winner was declared legally single in August last year after she and Brandon "deserve the opportunity to build a new life."

As per the divorce agreement obtained by CNN, the Grammy winner will pay Brandon a whopping amount of $45,601 a month in child support, excluding a one-time payment of $1.3 million and $115,000 in monthly spousal support until January 31, 2024. The court documents further state that Blackstock, a talent manager, will have possession of the couple's farm cattle, livestock, stock dogs, horses, and multiple vehicles.

The Since U Been Gone hitmaker, whose annual income is estimated to be a staggering $22.8 million, isn't walking out indignant either. The 39 years old singer has been endowed the possession of their two Montana home, in one of which Blackstock is residing at the moment and therefore will have to pay Clarkson $2000 a month in rent until he moves out in June. Kelly also gets to keep the family's pets and multiple cars.

The estranged pair will share joint custody of their two children, River Rose, 7, and Remington Alexander, 5, but the stipulation cites the two will live with their mom in Los Angeles and only visit their father, in Montana, once a month, cost of which Clarkson will have to bear. Kelly and Brandon started dating in 2011 and announced their engagement a year later. The pair walked down the aisle on October 20, 2013. Kelly was also a stepmom to Brandon's two children from his previous marriage.

Clarkson and Blackstock's divorce proceeding wasn't an easy process for both of them. The pair were engulfed in a bitter disagreement with their assets split, with Clarkson claiming that she wouldn't "even entertain the idea of agreeing to a settlement." The tipping point of the process came when Kelly tried to evict Blackstock from their Montana ranch.

"He has been living in it and said he doesn't have the financial means to afford to purchase a residence of his own at this time, citing the unresolved financial aspect of their divorce," a source then reported. Clarkson later agreed to give Brandon a five-percent share in the ranch, valued at $17,750,000. The pair's divorce settlement comes weeks after the talk show host legally filed to change her name from Clarkson to Brianne.
