Kit Harington Reveals He did not See the Final Season of Game of Thrones
Jon Snow actor Kit Harington says he did not see the final season of Game of Thrones.
The whole fan base wishes they were Kit Harington right about now and it is not because the fans want to be 'Jon Snow.' The reason people want to be Kit Harington is because the actor recently revealed he did not see the final season of 'Game of Thrones.'
Most of the fan base would love to un-see the whole thing, but we are cursed with the memory of the final season. The actor recently said he does not know how the last season turned out because he never sat down to watch it.
The whole 'Game of Thrones' cast and crew were at the Emmys when the show won the Best Drama trophy, and the team went behind the stage to talk to the press. Kit was the one who took the mic and talked to the press when one of the people asked about the controversy of the final season.
Kit said, “I'll tell you something... What was it? Controversy. I still haven't seen the show.” This was news to all, considering the actor is almost the main character of the show, and now he is saying he didn’t see the final season. “That's how I go about the controversy. I haven't seen the final season,” the actor continued.
Though the actor was not able to see the series, he did talk about what went into producing the final season. “But I know what it took to shoot it,” he said. “And it was -- it was hard, and everyone put all of their love and effort into it.”
But when it comes to the controversy itself, the actor said why none of it affected the team and the bond they formed on the sets of the show. “And controversy, I think for us, we knew what we were doing was right story-wise,” the actor explained. “And we knew that it was right for the characters because we’d lived with them for 10 years. So controversy for us didn’t really affect us.”

The controversy may not affect the creators or the people involved with the creation of the series but the ones affected were never apologized to. There were certain expectations for the fans when the eighth season was announced to be the final one in the series. But then the last season arrived, and almost all of the characters years-long arcs were disseminated for few unsatisfying shocking moments.
'Game of Thrones' season eight was the biggest exercise in futility, and the hubris of the creator of the show and their incoherent ending was what caused trauma to the fans world over. This was not how the final season of one of the greatest shows in history was supposed to go and when the dust settled the silence and then the uproar was the biggest we’ve ever seen in our multiple years of covering the movies and TV industry.
The show was supposed to be the greatest in history but like 'Heaven’s Gate' is a cautionary tale to the producers and artistic people involved in the movie industry, the final season is also a cautionary tale to everyone involved in making TV shows.
'Game of Thrones' is not done with the fans though because prequel show is coming next year with another about the rise of Targaryen is also said to be coming soon.
