Matt LeBlanc Splits After 6 Years of Relationship With Aurora Mulligan

Matt LeBlanc and Aurora Mulligan started dating in 2016: Sources say the couple's breakup is still "raw."

Matt LeBlanc, 54, and producer Aurora Mulligan have ended their relationship after nearly six years of romance. Although the pair's split has recently grabbed attention, sources say they broke up about a year ago, but the breakup effects are still raw. Fans and media suspected a possible breakup when Matt was spotted looking pretty downcast over the weekend.  

"They haven't been together in over a year," an insider revealed, another adds, "Matt and Aurora's relationship has run its course. It's all over. It's a huge shame, and Matt has taken the news particularly hard, as anyone would."The Friends alum met Aurora, 37, in 2016, when he became the first non-UK host on BBC's" Top Gear; Mulligan was in charge as the producer of the show.

LeBlanc, best known for playing Joey Tribbiani on the 90s sitcom Friends, was pictured with Mulligan on several occasions, including their initial public appearance as a couple at the Hickstead Derby. A source then reported, "They were very tactile, and Matt seemed to be very taken by Aurora as he laughed chatted intimately with her," the source adds, "Aurora just kept laughing at all his jokes and is besotted with the American superstar."

Mulligan, a native of Northern Ireland, is a TV producer and has credits in EastEnders, Holby City, and Top Gear. Before Aurora, the Friends alum was in a relationship with actress Andrea Anders, who co-starred with Matt on the Friends spin-off Joey. The pair dated for eight years before calling it quits in 2015. In contrast to LeBlanc's award-winning alter ego, Joey, who never had a problem with the ladies and had his love life sorted, Leblanc ironically hasn't had the same luck in real life.

The actor was married to the British-born American model Melissa McKnight for two years. The couple met via their mutual friend Kelly Phillips in 1997 and soon started dating. Matt and McKnight tied the knots in 2003 and in 2004 welcomed a daughter named Marina, who was diagnosed with cortical dysplasia as a child. Leblanc and Melissa got divorced in 2006 and are co-parenting their daughter amicably.
