Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Shares First Picture of Daughter Lilibet Diana

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry debut the first picture of their daughter on holiday card: Complete story here!  

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's holiday card unveils the long-awaited picture of their newborn. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared their new family holiday card, and it featured the couple's daughter, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten Windsor, born on June 24, 2021. The photo also stars little Diana's two-year-old brother Archie Harrison.

The royal family's sweet moment was captured by photographer Alexi Lubomirski at the couple's abode in Santa Barbara, California. The holiday card also comes with a message from the parents of two. "This year, 2021, we welcomed our daughter, Lilibet, to the world. Archie made us a Mama and papa, and Lili made us a family," the message starts.

It further reads, "As we look forward to 2022, we have made donations on your behalf to several organizations that honor and protect families – from those being relocated from Afghanistan to American families in need of paid parental leave."The card was first shared with Team Rubicon, which the royal couple connected with this year, an organization specialized in disaster response that serves communities by mobilizing veterans.

The family picture features little Archie sporting red hair like his father, while the couple's newly born can be seen wearing the brightest smile. The family of four is wearing matching denim. A source revealed the royal pair couldn't be happier with the birth of their daughter. For the two of them, the arrival of Lilibet solidifies the roots of their new beginning in the states.  

 The couple's daughter's name is a tribute to Queen Elizabeth II and the late Princess Diana.

The former actress and Prince Harry's engagement was announced on November 27, 2017. The couple walked down the aisle on May 19, 2018. The couple welcomed their firstborn, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, on May 6, 2019. A spokesperson for the couple told People, "He (Archie) is very happy to have a little sister."
