Mercedes Javid Welcomes First Child With Husband Tommy Feight
Mercedes Javid and Tommy Feight welcome their firstborn.
It's merely been a year since Mercedes Javid and Tommy Feight tied the knot of holy matrimony and a piece of good news is already upon their fans as the pair welcomed their first child.
With the birth of a baby boy Mercedes "MJ" Javid and Tommy Feight are in seventh heaven. The Shahs of Sunset pair lifted off the drapes over the good news of the pregnancy on April 17th, according to E! News.
Moreover, the couple has decided to call their son by the name of Shams Francis Feight. In fact, the beautiful baby boy breathed the outside air weighing 6 pounds, 9 ounces via C-section early Wednesday morning in a Los Angeles hospital.
Mercedes and Tommy welcome their first child.Reportedly, the name provided to the child, Shams is in honor of MJ's dad, Shams Javid. To add up, the grandpa of the newborn passed away in 2018, and the name Francis is in honor of Tommy's mom.
A rep for the television actor opened up to the E! News stating,
"The healthy baby boy is happy and doing great, and the family can't wait to bring him home."
The good news makes its way to the public as the couple is set to embark on their one-year wedding anniversary on April 21. Just months in on their married life, MJ confirmed she was expecting a baby, the first child for both of the duo, at the Shahs of Sunset Season 8 reunion in October.

Prior to her sizable announcement of the pregnancy, MJ on numerous occasions opened up about her desire to conceive and start a family to her fans and viewers. Nonetheless, she also added how she took a decision to undergo IVF to turn that dream into reality.
Once the pregnancy was confirmed, the actor kept fans up to date on every moment of her pregnancy, ranging from the details of the due date all the way to what names she had in mind for Baby Feight.
MJ said back in November,
“We do happen to have the name,”
She further stated,
“And the name is actually unisex. We’re holding onto that.”
The journey through the pregnancy hasn't always been easy for MJ as she has had multiple miscarriages scare and put on bedrest along the way for an elongated time. In fact, Javid went on record to speak up about her feelings regarding the ups and downs she has faced over the period of pregnancy.

She explained,
"Feeling overwhelmed with excitement, gratefulness, and hopeful about what lies ahead. The nurse staff at [the hospital] makes me feel like we’re in such good hands, and right at home. I’m so grateful to [my doctors] and the whole team at [the office]. My husband and I are very grateful and hopeful and appreciative of this journey and what is to come.”
Although she has faced a lot of hardships over a couple of months, it seems to be a burst of glorious sunshine is upon her as of now. All the best for MJ and her family life!
