Molly Qerim is a television host: Molly Qerim's husband filed for divorce after three years of marriage!
Molly Qerim is best recognized as the host of ESPN's First Talk; she previously hosted NFL Network's NFL AM and NFL Fantasy Live. Qerim started as a reporter for CBS Sports Network; later, she expanded her repertoire to include anchoring. She has covered the SEC Tailgate Show, SEC Tonight, and more.
Qerim, a native of New Haven, Connecticut, obtained her bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut and master's degree in broadcast journalism from Quinnipiac University. Qerim's personal life has come under media scrutiny after news emerged that she and her husband of two years separated a year ago and are now filing for divorce.
Inside Molly Qerim's short-lived marriage!
Qerim's marriage to the former NBA player and a fellow ESPN host, Jalen Rose, in July 2018 was a sweet surprise. Rose and Qerim walked down the aisle quietly in a small ceremony in New York City. Their wedding was as low-key as their romantic affair, which probably began in mid-2016.

Shortly after the news of their low-key wedding came to light, Qerim and Rose didn't mind sharing some dreamy pictures from their day. Last year, the NBA star shared how he and Molly have found a balance in their professional and personal lives. "I think balance is everything we're all trying to figure out, right Regardless of what phase of life we're in," Jalen had said.

But only three years inside their marital life and news has appeared that the pair are calling quits. In a statement, the former NBA player and now a sports analyst revealed that they got estranged a year ago. "After being separated for almost a year, Molly and I have officially decided to go our separate ways," Rose wrote on his Instagram story.
Why did Jalen Rose file for divorce from Molly Qerim?
The ESPN couple agreed to an amicable split, but people can't help but wonder what caused the two seemingly happy couple to fall apart. Some have paid heed to one of Qerim's friends, who has accused the First Talk host of cheating on Rose. As fans took Molly's social media to roast her, the couple's divorce papers have revealed the real truth.

Molly denies cheating on Jalen, and according to the divorce documents, Rose cites Qerim moving to Connecticut as the reason for their split. The papers further revealed that the two didn't have a prenup; hence Molly is not asking for spousal support. "Rose is not asking for alimony, and wants the same for his ex," a source reported.
An insider revealed that the ESPN couple had parted ways on good terms. "They were friends before they were together and are still friends," the source said. "They saw each other at work today and it was totally normal. They worked to keep their relationship status private over the last year because they have a lot of respect for each other," the source explained.
