Nick Gordon, Bobbi Kristina's ex-boyfriend dies after Drug Overdose

Whitney Houston's daughter's ex-boyfriend, Nick Gordon passes away!

Nick Gordon, the man who came to prominence after his controversial affair with Bobbi Kristina has tragically passed away. He was 30.

His brother, Jack Walker Jr., confirmed the tragic news to the PEOPLE magazine. He said Gordon died on Wednesday in Florida. The cause of death is deduced as a drug overdose.

His brother's statement said, "We are devastated by the loss of my beautiful brother. He leaves a void in the hearts of my family and his friends. Nick’s battle in life was not an easy one. I will be forever grateful that my God afforded a small moment at the very end of Nick’s life, and I was able to hold his hand as he journeyed on."

The news comes three years after Nick was accused in the wrongful death case of his then-girlfriend, Bobbi. After found guilty, the court ordered him to pay $36 million to her estate.

Back in 2015, Bobbi's unconscious body was found in the bathtub of the former pair's residence in Georgia. Reports at the time revealed her body had drugs in it.

His brother Jack also shared a heartfelt message on his Facebook account.

Gordon's legal trouble didn't end there as his girlfriend Laura Leal also made accusation regarding physical assault. He was arrested back in 2017 for domestic battery but later on released.

In 2018, she told the authorities, Nick allegedly hit her face and pulled her hair whilst driving.

But later on, Leal overturned all the accusations and “denied being struck or touched against her will.”
