Yet another blow for the Queen as her nephew announces divorce!

David Linley, known by the title of Earl of Snowdon has announced that he and his wife, Serena has decided to split. They've been married for 25-years.

The bad news comes just weeks after the Queen's grandson, Peter Phillips also announced he and his wife, Autumn has also decided to call it quits.

David is the eldest son of Princess Margaret, Queen Elizabeth's baby sister. He was born to Margaret from her marriage with the photographer, Antony Armstrong-Jones. He also has one sister, Lady Sarah Chatto.

The Earl of Snowdon and Countess of Snowdon has been married since October 8th, 1993. They share two kids, Lady Margarita Armstrong-Jones and Charles Armstrong-Jones, Viscount Linley.

A spokesman for the Snowdon's said in the official statement,

"The Earl and Countess of Snowdon have amicably agreed that their marriage has come to an end and that they shall be divorced. They ask that the press respect their privacy and that of their family."

David Armstrong is the founder of a furniture company that he opened by his professional name, David Linley back in the year 1985.

Furthermore, he has also penned several books regarding furniture and styling your personal residence.

Well, things couldn't have come in a dire time for the Royal family. First Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's decision to move away, then Mr. and Mrs. Philips filing for divorce, and now this.
