Bachelor in Paradise stars Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk are over the moon with the birth of their first child. Gottschalk. 31 was a contestant on the 13th season of The Bachelorette. He would later appear and win the fourth season of Bachelor in Paradise, where he met and fell in love with Raven Gates.  

Gates, 30, was a contestant on the 21st season of The Bachelor; after leaving the season as a runner-up, Gates won the fourth season of Bachelor in Paradise along with Adam. It is very rare for a Bachelor franchise couple to last long after the show, but to go on without any drama and complaints is even rarer. Since coming across each other in 2017, Gates and Gottschalk continue to be as glamourous and fan-favorite as they were in the reality show.  

Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk welcomed a baby boy!  

The Bachelor in Paradise couple's home is completed with the arrival of their newborn. Announcing the birth of his little boy, Gottschalk posted a picture of his son's tiny footprints. "Little man made it," the first time father wrote. He reveals his wife delivered the baby via emergency cesarean section.

"Had emergency C-Section after pushing for about an hour and a half. Mom and baby are doing very well," Adam adds. The new parents had revealed the news of their pregnancy in July, nearly four months after their wedding in April 2021. The baby was conceived in Hawaii, where the couple had jetted off for their honeymoon. "OVER THE MOON EXCITED TO SHARE THE NEWS," Gottschalk wrote while revealing the news of their honeymoon baby.

The Arkansas-born influencer couldn't be happier. In an interview with People, Gates had revealed her happiness with their pregnancy. "We found out right after the wedding. I've wanted to be a mom for a long time. And I always imagined creating a family with someone I love so much," the Bachelor alum had said.

Gates even revealed her experience being an expecting woman. She shared unlike other women, she didn't experience any nausea, but the lack of energy and food aversion was at max. Just a few days ahead of her labor day, an excited Raven had shared a snap of her fully-grown baby bump on her Instagram, where she has over 1.1 million followers. Raven has thoroughly documented her pregnancy on the platform.

The Gottschalk couple has been patient and meticulous with their life from the start. The pair refused to be engaged on the show, just for the sake of the show; the couple kept in mind the several elements in the play, like their different cities and the pace of their relationship. After winning the coveted show, Adam and Raven were in a long-distance relationship for a while.

After two years of dating and waiting, the pair announced their engagement in May 2019. Fans even witnessed a preview of the proposal, as Gottschalk posted a video of himself getting ready to propose. "This weekend has been a work in progress for the last 4 months," he wrote. But like every other love story, Raven and Adam's relationship, too, had a few setbacks.

The couple never intended to wait too long to get married, but the Bachelor in Paradise alums had no option but to wait for two long years. Their special day was severely delayed by the pandemic and its inflicted restrictions. But despite all odds, Adam and Gated finally got to walk down the aisle on April 16, 2021. The ceremony took place at a majestic estate outside Dallas, where the couple lives. "I couldn't have imagined it any other way," Gated told People.
