Yes, you heard it right. Regé-Jean Page is turning down a big chunk of money to return for the highly awaited second season of Bridgerton. The 31-year-old might have many fans wanting him, but the actor has already made his decision.
As per several news outlets, the showrunners had actually given him a great deal to guest star in around three to five episodes of the second season, but Page declined the role.

Had he accepted the offer, Rege-Jean Page would have appeared as Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings in the Netflix series. In fact, he would have made an impressive salary of around $50,000 per episode if he had accepted the chance to appear in the second season.
As per The Hollywood Reporter, Regé-Jean Page had already made his mind up after the first season that he wouldn't be a part of the second one. It was a difficult decision for the British actor as many fans are making a wish for his return.
