The pop icon is the latest music personality to join the billionaire club. Rihanna, whose real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, has become the richest woman musician and second richest entertainer after Oprah. Forbes' Madeline Berg reported early Wednesday, Rihanna “is now worth $1.7 billion."
Born on February 20, 1998, in Saint Michael, Barbados, Rihanna's accomplishments bridge multiple industries. You may better know her as the singer of hits like Diamonds, Umbrella, and Work, but the pop star has raked a majority of fortune from beauty and fashion companies she founded.

The high-end brand itself is at least $2.8 billion, and it accounts for as much as $1.4 billion of Rihanna's colossal net worth.
