Grete Šadeiko was born in Estonia, and most of her early education was done in the country, which lies near the northwest border of Russia. After she was done with her University education Grete Šadeiko met Robert Griffin III for the first time, the couple started on their romance journey near the end of summer and as Robert was doing deep soul searching as to what he wanted to do with his life and career.
Grete Šadeiko and Robert moved in together as the player embarked on his shirt stint with the Cleveland Browns and soon quit football altogether for a year after being released by the Browns. But it was the support at home from his girlfriend, Grete Šadeiko, which kept the player moving forward.

Grete Šadeiko and her husband share two kids together; their first daughter, Gloria Griffin, was born on 2 July 2017. Soon after the couple got married, Grete was pregnant again, and the athlete gave birth to the couple’s second daughter on 7 September 2019, whom they named Gameya Griffin.
