Robin Wright Files For Divorce From Clément Giraudet,

Robin Wright and Clément Giraudet are divorcing after four years of marriage: Complete story here!  

After a year of dating bliss and four years of marriage, actress Robin Wright and Clément Giraudet, a Saint Laurent executive, have called it quits. The Golden-Globe-winning actress cited the pair's reason for separation as "irreconcilable differences."  

As per TMZ, Wright has asked the court not to use the spousal support and alimony clause as the estranged pair have agreed to all their assets being all "his/her separate property" in their post-nuptial agreement. In her divorce filing, the House of Cards actress revealed their separation date as July 31. The divorce filing comes not long after Wright's recent appearance in LA without her wedding band.

Wright and Giraudet started dating rumors in 2017 when they were snapped during Paris Fashion Week. The romance rumors swirled with the couple's recurring public appearances, including one with Robin's son, Hopper Penn, who she shares with her second ex-husband, the Academy-winning Sean Penn.

After almost a year of romance, the Santa Barbara actress and the Saint Laurent executive tied the knots in an intimate wedding in La Roche-sur-le-Buis, France, in August 2018. "Robin wanted it to be about them, not a big production," an insider said about the now-estranged duo's secret wedding. Known as a private couple, Wright and Giraudet had no children during the period.

In contrast to her hush-hush relationship with Clément, Robin once had a very public and tumultuous relationship with actor Penn. Wright and Penn met on the sets of their 1990 crime film State of Grace. Despite the unlikely situation, with Sean coming out of a scandalous marriage to Madonna, and Wright, at the onset of her very promising career, the pair fell head over heels for each other.  

The Unbreakable actress gave birth to Sean's kids, daughter Dylan Frances Penn, in 1991 and son Hopper Jack, in 1993, out of wedlock. The duo had an on-and-off relationship before finally tying the knots in 1996. The pair's relationship was often called out for coming at a cost to Wright's career. The actress had to decline a starring role in the 1993 blockbuster The Firm due to her surprise pregnancy.

"We were learning as we were going along," Wright said about her on-off relationship with the Oscar winner. She added, "We agreed as parents that we'd not work at the same time so that one of us was always with the kids. He was making more money than I was at the time, so it was a simple decision: 'You go work—I’ll stay with the kids." Thankfully, Wright's career gained traction once again after she called it quits for good with the 21 Grams actor.
