Known for playing Frankie Lewis in BBC soap opera EastEnders, British actress Rose Ayling-Ellis amassed a legion of fans when she took over the stage of Strictly Come Dancing as the first-ever deaf contestant, and when Rose won the 19th season of the dance contest with professional Giovanni Pernice, she instilled the power of hope and hard work in many.  

Rose Lucinda Ayling-Ellis was born on November 17, 1994, in Shepway, Kent. Deaf from birth, Ellis was involved in a filming weekend initiated by the National Deaf Children's Society; a fateful encounter with the deaf film director Ted Evans started her venture into acting. Aside from her thriving career, Ellis also shares glimpses of her love life on social media.   

Rose Ayling-Ellis's relationship with Samuel Arnold?  

Though Rose has been giving fans insight into her blissful relationship, the actress is rarely publicly seen with her mystery boyfriend. It was only recently when Samuel Arnold, also deaf, made an appearance on the Strictly in the finale as her girlfriend got crowned the winner. Arnold was seen plauding Rose in sign language and jumping with joy.

As details on the couple's relationship have started to fold out, fans are left even more impressed to learn that Ellis and Arnold have been dating for the last seven years. Sharing a picture of their romantic trip to Peru, the EastEnders actor celebrated their six years in 2019. "Six years we've been together and I still don't find you annoying," Rose wrote, to which Samuel comments, "I still find you the funniest, beautiful and super cool girlfriend I ever asked for."

Fans have been curious to learn more about Arnold, but as per reports, Ellis and Arnold himself would rather prefer to keep away from the spotlight. After winning the BBC dance contest, Rose shared a picture of herself with Arnold and Pernice, all beaming with happiness.

Rose Ayling-Ellis makes a sad revelation after the groundbreaking win! 

"I think when I won it, I was so shocked; I couldn't speak, And then everyone came up to me afterward to say, 'Well done," Rose told her finale competitor and BBC Breakfast host Dan Walker. The actress touches upon the emotional moment of her and her mother Donna embracing each other tight on the stage after the win.

"I think it's because we went through a lot," Ellis says. "My mum had to fight a lot to make it accessible for my education, right from the start, so I had that right from the beginning of everything I do, constantly fighting, constantly battled to get what I needed," the Strictly winner confessed.

BBC is reportedly planning to make a documentary about Ellis's life and make her a poster girl. Showbiz execs estimate Rose will be a multi-millionaire in the upcoming year. Barry Tomes told Daily Mail, "The world is at her feet. She could earn over £1million in 2022." The actress says she believes her victory in the contest has opened a door for disabled people.
