Buccaneers Quarterback Ryan Griffin tied the Knot with his Long time Girlfriend Marissa Boyd

Buccaneers Quarterback Ryan Griffin and Marissa Boyd are married: Exclusive story here!  

It's official: Buccaneers quarterback Ryan Griffin, 32, and his longtime girlfriend, Marissa Boyd, 28, are husband and wife. The couple walked down the aisle in front of their closest family and friends at Bel-Air Bay Club in Los Angeles on Friday. The newly-married have been in a relationship for over four years. 

In the wedding pictures, exclusively obtained by People, the quarterback can be seen fighting his tears upon seeing Marissa in her bridal look. Explaining the sweet snippet, Griffin said, "I was trying to hold back tears, but when I saw Marissa walking down the aisle, I was very emotional."   

The pair tied the knots after four years of romance.

The gorgeous ceremony, planned by Kelly Patrice and photographed by Jenny Quicksall, was attended by Griffin's teammates Blaine Gabbert, Cameron Brate, Kyle Trask, O.J. Howard and more. Boyd donned a form-fitting gown and a cathedral-length veil. Grace Balsamo did the bride's makeup look. Don't miss Griffin and Boyd's adorable dog, dressed as handsomely.

"I'm feeling like I'm on cloud nine," said Marissa, who also shared a good portion of her big day on Instagram. The pair announced their engagement in October 2020. Boyd also chronicled the days leading up to their wedding. Sharing a photo of herself with Ryan a day after Valentine's day, Marissa wrote, We make this little family official in 10 days. Trying to slow it down and soak it all up [smile with hearts emoji] Heart is full."

Griffin, a native of Santa Monica, California, played college football at Tulane, finishing his college career with 9,026 yards, 56 touchdowns, and 35 interceptions. He was the third-string quarterback for the Buccaneers in 2015 and 2016. Griffin made his NFL debut against Indianapolis Colts in week 14 of the 2019 season.
