Serena Willams, the 39-year-old four-gold-medalists athlete, and entrepreneur recently got candid about her marriage, the do's and don'ts in a relationship, and she even had a message for people dealing with hard relationships.

Serena Williams, in her recent interview with Bumble, confessed that her marriage is not so perfect like it seems; she admitted to putting in a lot of work to make her marriage successful. The athlete explained no one has a perfect relationship, and so it requires constant work from both parties involved to make it work.

The 23-time Grand slam title winner is married to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian; the couple tied the knot on December 10, 2016, in Rome.  

The couple is blessed with a daughter named Alexis Olympia Ohanian. Serena quoted in the interview, "Marriage is not bliss," But it can be if you work at it."  while explaining what she can't tolerate in her relationship, Serena said, "a dealbreaker for me in a relationship is definitely loyalty. Well, not having it, that is."

Williams's interview has left her fans adoring the athlete even more; one fan wrote, "it takes a lot of gut for an A-lister celebrity like her to uncover her seemingly perfect marriage."
