Late Night Star Seth Meyers and his Wife Alexi Ashe Welcomed Third Child, Detail About their Relationship

Seth Meyers and his wife announced the birth of their third child: Inside the couple's relationship!  

Well known for working as the head writer of Saturday Night Live for nearly 14 years, comedian Seth Meyers is now better celebrated for hosting Late Night with Seth Meyers on NBC. Meyers might be well noted for his voluble mouth on the variety show, but the comedian sure knows how to keep things in the wrap when it comes to his personal life.  

Meyers and his wife of 8 years, Alexi Ashe, recently welcomed their third child, but it wasn't until two months after the child's birth that Seth revealed the happy news. The SNL alum revealed the news during his annual holiday-themed late-night segment. The Meyers couple shares two sons.  

Seth Meyer says, wife Alexi Ashe gave birth to a daughter!  

It was no coincidence that Meyers brought the exciting news on the Thanksgiving segment he does every year on his show. The father of two took the audience by surprise when he revealed that he and his wife had a third child, a beautiful daughter they named Adelaide. "We had another one, you guy," Seth revealed with all the excitement in the world.

Meyers was joined by his parents Hillary and Larry Meyers; also present was his brother Josh Meyers, a guest on the show. Meyers showed the audience a clip where his two boys, Ashe Olson, 5, and Alex Strahl, 3, were dressed as turkeys, as they exclaimed, "One, two, three, surprise," and introduced their newly-born sibling with a kiss on each cheek.

The camera then turns to Seth's mother, who reacts to the infant being named after her mother. "I knew, knowing Seth and Alexi, it had to start with an A, it had to be a cool name and I know what family means to all of them, so I thought I pretty much had it guessed," she says, adding, "but I didn't know and I didn't want to ask, When I found out, I burst into tears."

Meyers and Alexi Ashe have led an exemplary marital life; since tying the knots on September 1, 2013, in a Jewish ceremony on Martha's Vineyard, the couple has projected a blissful and ideal life in front of the world. They were in a relationship for five years before they got hitched.

On March 27, 2016, Seth and Ashe welcomed their first child, Ashe. Two years later, Alexi had their second son, Axel, in the lobby of their building. "We're in the lobby, and we're walking down the steps, and my wife just says, I can't get in the car. I'm going to have the baby right now, the baby is coming," Meyers later revealed. He adds, "I'm just trying to calm her down and the baby is out."

Meyers's wife, Alexi, 38, is a human rights attorney. When Meyers was still working as a writer on SNL, Ashe was an assistant District attorney in Brooklyn and was assigned to the sex crimes bureau. Alexi has also worked for survivors of domestic violence, sex trafficking, and gender violence.
