Leaked Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Trailer Description Details Meeting of Kylo Ren and Emperor Palpatine

The leaked trailer description for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker details the first meeting of of the Supreme Leader and the Emperor.

'Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker' is only weeks away and we’ve only got one teaser and a special look at the movie with the last trailer taking half the time to show all the events of the past movies in the series and we are still without a single full-length trailer. But it seems the wait is almost over and the trailer for the movie is getting ready to be unveiled.

With the trailer all set to come out, we are getting information of what is in the clip, from leaked details coming from the people who saw the trailer. According to the leaks surfacing online, the trailer will show the first meeting of 'Kylo Ren' and 'Emperor Palpatine' with Ian McDiarmid returning to play the character.

The first two trailers for the movie were pretty heavy on the involvement of the big baddie from all of the Star Wars movies before the sequel trilogy started. The second trailer even included the voice-over by Palpatine with the Sith lord laughing as the final shots of the trailer played out.

Now we will be getting our first look at 'Darth Sidious' after his supposed death at the end of 'Return of the Jedi.' Yes, Ian McDiarmid played the character in the prequel trilogy but we are talking about the continuation of the series.

A lot of time passed after the defeat of the Emperor at the hands of 'Darth Vader' and 'Luke Skywalker' but apparently, falling into abyss did not kill the leader of the dark side.

The leaked details state the 'Supreme Leader of the First Order' and the 'Emperor of the Empire' will come face to face in the trailer. The scene is said to be from the third act of the movie with the 'Kylo Ren' landing on a dead planet Exogal where there is a large floating cube on the planet and the Supreme Leader takes his step towards the cube where he takes a lift down inside the planet which leads Kylo to a facility inside the planet which is used to take care of an old man.

The dying old man is there on the brink of death and he is stood up by the medical table which brings him face to face with Kylo. He uses his lightsaber and takes it close to the neck of the old man, asking him who he is. To the question, the old man replies with the name 'Darth Sidious,' the man who destroyed the republic and turned it into an empire while becoming the emperor of the world.

According to the leaks, this was not the only scene in the trailer with this clip leading the people into scenes of other battles and the vast fleet of the First Order is also shown in the trailer in further detail to show the dire situation all of our heroes are in.

Whether 'Ren' and 'Rey' will again feature in the trailer is not known yet but considering the writer of the movie saying the film will focus more on the complicated relationship between Ren and Rey, we are expecting some fight scenes to appear in the trailer or just some emotional beats.

The fate of 'Star Wars' now rests in the hands of J.J. Abrams who is tasked with the unenviable task of bringing the sprawling nine-episode saga home. 'The Last Jedi' was a divisive movie which tore the fan base in half and killed the interest of some of the fans on the franchise. But no matter what the people say, the ending of a saga is not something they will want to miss which is why this is a mountain of a task dropped on the shoulders of the 'Force Awakens' director.

Not only getting the fan base back but also adding some much-needed interest on the franchise is something he needs to generate in the final movie and all signs point to a satisfying ending when 'Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker' releases worldwide on 20 December 2019.

The trailer is expected any day now and the marketing team for the film is set to be gearing into action to dust off the performance of the eighth installment and try to get the ninth installment to the heights reached by 'Force Awakens.'
