In January of 2017, Steve O was hired for a job, and Lux Wright, at the time, was working as a set decorator. The two met for the first time on the job, which ended up being shelved, but the actor was paid the money he was owed, and he also met Lux there.

Lux was the one who asked Steve out on a date, and the two went for a little dinner together and soon started being serious about one another. The couple soon made their relationship official and together and moved in (gross joke). They also kissed for the first time after a month of dating and only then became sexually active.

The couple lived together, and the relationship was going strong when Steve decided he needed to put a ring on it.

After only about six months of dating, Steve O knew Lux was the woman for her; he knew the third time is the charm. So he planned for a proposal six months in advance, and on 21 January 2018, he brought all his Jackass friends, family, and sisters and proposed.

Lux said yes, and she showed off her engagement ring, which was a diamond on a gold band, to all the fans on Instagram. For almost two years, they’ve been engaged, and though they are not certain when the marriage is going to happen, they do know they do not want any kids.

No, they are not married, but they’ve been engaged for close to two years. The reason Steve and Lux and not getting married soon are because they want to own their personal sanctuary farm for animals, and when they can buy the land and get the farm up and running, they will get married on the premises.

The couple is vegetarian, and they want to help animals by keeping them in a sanctuary and letting people have contact with the animal so they can form a connection and rethink why they consume the animals in the first place. Steve and Lux are both dedicated on this endeavor, which is why they will not get married until their own sanctuary is up and running.
