Supermodel Gigi Hadid Confirms She's Pregnant

Gigi Hadid confirms pregnancy but wishes she could have announced it on her own terms.

Supermodel Gigi Hadid made an appearance on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' from her home on Thursday night's edition, where she announced she and Zayn Malik are indeed about to be parents.

Pregnancy rumors had already spiraled, and Yolanda Hadid, the supermodel's mother, spoke to the Dutch outlet RTL Boulevard on Wednesday announcing her daughter's pregnant. Therefore, there was no use in trying to play sly as Fallon beginned the interview excitedly congratulating Hadid.

Hadid said, "Obviously we wish we could have announced it on our own terms, but we're very excited and happy and grateful for everyone's well-wishes and support."

Hadid also claimed the joy of potentially becoming a mother is a cause of positivity amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic even though she's currently quarantined due to coronavirus like several others.

Hadid added, "Especially during this time, it's nice — it's a nice silver lining to be able to be home and together, and really experience it day by day."

Fans were already delighted for the young pair, well before Hadid announced the pregnancy herself.

In addition to the wonderful baby announcement, Hadid had recently marked her 25th birthday, and her father knew exactly what she would be craving.

Hadid continued, "In the morning, my family brought out an everything bagel cake, which already blew my mind because my craving has been everything bagels. I eat an everything bagel a day."

But that turned out to be merely icing on the cake. The supermodel said, "So I was already so excited that my birthday cake was an everything bagel, but then I found out that Buddy the Cake Boss made my cake."

Hadid is clearly a huge fan of Buddy, and she was quite emotional when she found out. "I cried every five minutes for like an hour. Every time I thought about that—that Buddy made my cake, I couldn't stop crying," stated the fashion model.
