In an essay for Glamour on Monday, the Bernadette Rostenkowski actress, the mother of the 2-year-old daughter, Sadie, was "so fearful" ahead of the birth of her second child, Brooks, amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rauch admitted she was incredibly fearful of giving birth without a tow supporter and care team, combined with the health concerns about going into a medical facility during a pandemic. Therefore, she tried her best to prepare for a scenario she never imagined facing. "Filling my hospital bag with disinfecting wipes and practicing labor breathing in a mask like I was training for a dystopian marathon," stated Melissa.
