Tyler Gwozdz' Cause of Death Finally Revealed
The death of ‘The Bachelorette’ contestant Tyler Gwozdz came as a shock to many. He died in January at just 29, and now his cause of death had finally found its way over to the internet!
After at least a week in the hospital with a significant health scare since January 13, the reality TV star from ‘The Bachelorette’ was pronounced dead with a possible drug overdose in Boca Raton, Florida. A woman notified the paramedics who told them that Tyler Gwozdz had locked himself in a bathroom, which she was eventually able to open.
A recording of the actual call confirmed that the caller also mentioned that heroin might have caused the suspected overdose. But now, according to documents obtained by E! News, the Palm Beach County Medical Examiner in Florida listed his death an accident as a result of opioid toxicity (heroin). The lack of admission specimens made it hard for the examiners to pin the exact cause, but heroin overdose fit the description the closest.

The examiner stated, “Given this information and a lack of admission specimens for testing his death is best classified as Opioid Toxicity (Heroin). It is possible that the offending agent could have been a different substance than heroin. However, given the circumstances it is best classified as such. If additional information becomes available in the future, it will be evaluated, and if needed the cause of death amended.”

The devastation and heartbreak caused by addiction are, unfortunately, becoming a reality for too many families across the United States as the epidemic of this disease continues to spread.
