Virginia Giuffre Files a Lawsuit Against Prince Andrew: Read the Complete Report Here!
Virginia Roberts Giuffre, an advocate of justice for sex trafficking survivors and alleged victim of Jeffrey Epstein, has filed a lawsuit against Prince Andrew. According to federal documents filed on Monday, Giuffre, 38, had accused Prince Andrew of sexually abusing her at Jeffrey Epstein’s mansion in Manhattan when she was 17.
The lawsuit states, "Prince Andrew committed sexual assault and battery upon Plaintiff when she was 17 years old. As such, Prince Andrew is responsible for battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress pursuant to New York common law. The damage to Plaintiff has been severe and lasting."

Sigrid McCawley, an attorney for Giuffre, told CNN, "the filing of this complaint proves that irrespective of power, privilege or even being a prince, no one is above the law in the United States, and all perpetrators of abuse should be held accountable." If the case progresses, the court will have the power to order the analysis of relevant materials.

Giuffre had previously and publicly accused Epstein of trafficking her; she now alleges the disgraced financier forced her to have sex with his friends, including the Duke of York. The California-born activist has cited that she feared defying the socialites, which consisted of Epstein, Prince Andrew, and Maxwell.

A spokesperson of the Duke said there was "no comment" on the lawsuit. There isn't any official reply from Prince Andres's side for now. Back in 2019, speaking about Giuffre's allegations, the Duke of York had denied meeting her.
"I can absolutely categorically tell you it never happened. I have no recollection of ever meeting this lady, none whatsoever," Prince Andrew told BBC. Even as the duke continues denying having met Victoria in the past, she alleges it's time he is held accountable. "I am holding Prince Andrew accountable for what he did to me," said Giuffre.
Giuffre is not the only one accusing Prince Andrew of sexual abuse. Many women in recent years have come forward claiming they have been victims of his heinous acts.
