The actress co-stars in Netflix's well-rated fantasy series, The Witcher, which also stars Henry Cavill, Freya Allan, and Eamon Farren. The trailer of the much anticipated The Witcher 2 was recently released, and it appears Shaffer is set to reprise her role as Triss Merigold.  

Aside from The Witcher, Shaffer also has credit in the Harry Potter film series. Born on March 15, 1992, in London, England, Anna gained wide critical acclaim playing Ruby Button in the British soap opera Hollyoaks. In 2007 she was cast as Romilda Vane in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, a small role that she would reprise in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 and 2.

Despite starting her onscreen journey at 17, Anna hasn't made it quite big yet and is still regarded as an up-and-coming actress in Hollywood. With only a handful of credits in her resume, most of which are supporting characters, Shaffer's net worth does justify her work, but not her talent.

In an interview, the Witcher star revealed that she always fantasized about pursuing acting as a child; Anna then shares that it was only in her teenage years when acting felt like a tangible career. After enrolling at a performing art center, she auditioned for a role in the Harry Potter, hence began her journey in the series.

Setting off her career with one of the biggest film franchises ever, Shaffer got the exposure early on. At 18, Shaffer landed the role of Ruby Button on the British soap opera Hollyoaks. She starred in the show for six long years and was nominated for the sexiest Female at the British Soap Opera Awards.

After Hollyoaks, Shaffer has also appeared in the British television drama Glue, Class, and Fearless. Perhaps the 29 years old is also looking to venture into modeling; Anna recently showed off her curves posing as a model for Fig Leaves lingerie. The Brit is married to Jimmy Stephenson, a wine merchant.

Shaffer and her fans are eagerly waiting to see The Witcher 2 on Netflix this December. Netflix recently dropped new posters of the upcoming season, and just by the loo of it, it is looking as enthralling as ever. The first poster has Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, while the second snippet featured Shaffer and Freya Allan as Merigold and Ciri.
