Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Lowel are in Tax Debt: Will The Couple File For Bankruptcy?   

The Teem Mom stars Tyler Baltierra, 29, and Catelynn Lowel, 29, in a tight spot as they are laden with heavy text debts. The spouses reportedly owe almost $900,000 in taxes. Half buried in debts and on top four children to tend to, many outlets speculate if the duo will file for bankruptcy soon.  

The Sun reports, The Teem Mom alums were blown with a federal tax lien for $535,010,97 in November 2019, for 2016 and 2017 years. The couple was soon slapped with another charge a month later when the lien for the year 2018 amounted to $321,789.06. The couple has starred in every season of Teen Mom OG and season 3 of Couple Therapy.

The Sun reported the couple's tax debts have remained unpaid; Lowel reportedly paid of tax lien of $6001 in early 2020. The spouses previously ran a children's clothing line named Tierra Reign; it has been a few years since their company has been in a slump. Tyler sold their Burtchville, Michigan home for $175,000 in October 2020.

It was reported he made a whopping $101,560 profit as the house was originally bought for $73,440. The reality tv stars currently live in their $220,000 home and doting parents to Carly, who they placed for adoption, Novalee, and Vaeda. But the couple received much backlash when they recently welcomed their fourth daughter Rya Rose. Fans thought it was irresponsible on their part to keep extending their family despite being under heavy debt.

We aren't sure if the explanation remains valid, but before Rya's birth, the duo assured their fans that they were financially ready to provide their children for life. Appearing in an interview with Awesome Dad Show, Tyler said, "As far as getting compensated from the show, my kids are set for their life  financially; he adds, "College is paid for, and that was mine and Catelynn's main thing."
