You Won't Believe How Things 'Just Fell Into Place' When A Virginia Man Wanted To Raise Money For His Charity While Keanu Reeves Wanted To Promote A New Movie

While promoting a movie he was producing, the bleeding heart of Keanu couldn't stop himself from doing another act of kindness!

Keanu Reeves is pure of heart, we know as much, the generosity from the actor knows no bounds, and he does his best to help out people in need which is exactly what he did during the promotion of one of the movies he is producing. ‘Already Gone’ is a drama film written and directed by Christopher Kenneally about two teen agers who run away from home to escape from an abusive figure at home.

During the promotion of the movie, Keanu and the director and writer of the film along with another executive producer and former police officer Jim Klock met with a charity worker Vernon Green Jr. The man from Virginia was looking to raise money for his charity of mentoring at-risk kids and during his time in the Big Apple where he was looking to raise some money, met with the producers and director of the movie and all of a sudden in a matter of moment the movie was turned into an impromptu screening in New York City with G3CS, the charity run by Green, dubbed as the sponsor of the event.

In the movie 15-year-old, 'Robinson' lives in an abusive home with his step-father and when his father is about to pimp his new 19-year-old girlfriend, the two teenagers run away with Robinson taking the girl away with his father’s money and trying to get as far away from his step-father as they can.

The movie and the charity seemed like a perfect match, and Keanu and the people involved with the movie realized the connection and all of a sudden the premier was sponsored by G3 which stands for “Giving God Glory,” and Green was collecting donations.

Talking about the movie, Keanu said, “It’s children, in a hard environment, going out into the world and seeking themselves and escape. We can watch this movie, relate to it, hopefully, learn from it, and be entertained by it.” Keanu was in New York for the event, and he was so taken by the story of the charity and the good work being done by Green, he even took the time out of his busy schedule to record a video for the organization.

In the video, Keanu asked the people, “Join me by making a donation to G3CS, so that we can help support incredible programs for children, veterans, and their families. Let’s spread the word by sharing the wonderful work this great charity is doing by improving lives and strengthening communities. Thank You.”

When asked by The Washington Post, Keanu said, “I love the little children, the kids — you have to help the kids. There’s some kind of connection through my upbringing, which was great, by the way, but had its challenges.”

Green, who was looking for donations and help from people, was more than happy to get an a-lister helping him in his endeavor. “This takes us from a very small-scale to national-scale attention,” Vernon said. “This type of thing is exactly what we need to bring together the exposure, the awareness, the resources so we can do what we need to do for these children.”

Vernon expanded his charity from just working with kids to now working with veterans and families, and he was happy someone like the John Wick star took his time to help out his charity. He also said his family was not buying someone like Keanu helping the charity out, but they were all believers after they saw the Keanu video.

In the video, you can see Keanu is sporting a new look which he adapted for the filming of the upcoming Bill and Ted movie. But no matter how the actor looks, the heart is still the same, oozing love and passion for everyone and spreading positivity and calmness along with his endearing charm to every soul he touches.
