Ashley Graham Shares First Picture of Her Newborn and Also Reveals the Name of the Baby

Ashley Graham and her husband, Justin Ervin, finally shared their newborn's first picture and also revealed his name!

The 32 years old model, Ashley Graham, gave birth to a baby Isaac Menelik Giovanni Ervin boy on January 18 at 6:00 PM. Graham and Ervin shared the news of their son's birth on their Instagram Stories last month but held back on revealing pictures of the newborn. However, on the span of two days, the couple didn't just post their first photo with the baby but also revealed his name.

Ashley posted two different photos of her and Justin holding a small hand of their son. The post was captioned,

At 6:00PM on 01/18/2020, we welcomed 7lbs 5oz of love into our world. Meeting our son has made our hearts incredibly full and we can't wait to introduce him to you on @prettybigdealpod tomorrow...

The images, however, only showed close-up shots of the baby's hands clutching on to his parent's fingers. As for Ashley and Justin, this is the pair's first child, and they obviously couldn't be happier.

As for the name, they settled on Isaac Menelik Giovanni Ervin, and there's an enduring reason behind the title. Isaac was Graham's idea, something that he was always sure of. Explaining his motive in Ashley's Pretty Big Deal podcast, Ervin said,

My sister Kia and I would have discussions about, 'Oh, one day, when we have kids. I brainstormed my own name for my future son, and I knew it was gonna be Isaac.

Menelik, meaning 'son of the wise' in African, was a little souvenir that the twosome picked-up on from a trip to Ethiopia. Whereas Giovanni came as a suggestion from a friend and also reflected the names of his and Graham's grandfathers, who were both named John, the English equivalent of that name.

Ashley Graham and her spouse Justin Ervin announced their pregnancy via Instagram on their ninth wedding anniversary back on August 14, 2019. The couple posed for a video for Ashley's eight million followers on social media to announce the happy news. The model already showed an apparent baby bump then, and five months later, the good news finally came with the birth of their first son.

The new mother couldn't keep down her excitement and continuously posted pictures of her baby bump in her official Instagram account until eight days before the birth.
