The dating rumors between the two actresses piqued when Cara posted a tribute for Taylor on Instagram. Commemorating Taylor's win for the Face of The Year Award at 2021 CDFA Award, Delevingne posted a lengthy, heartfelt note to the Queen's Gambit star, where she called Anna "unique beauty."

Cara captioned, "Tonight I feel most privileged to talk about a face this year that captivated the world not only by her unique beauty but by her ability to tell a story with every eyebrow, blink, twitch, smile. And if you're still split contesting the nature of their relationship, Taylor responded to the post with, "You are everything. Thank you, baby munchkin."

Taylor, 25, is an actress and model with accolades like Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award under her belt. Unlike her rumored flame, who's remained persistent and unabashed in her pursuit for love, Taylor has kept her personal life, including her sexuality, away from the media. The actress was rumored to be dating musician Malcolm McRae last year.

Delevinge's earliest known lover, ever since she rose to fame as a model, was Jake Bugg, who she met through mutual friend Rita Ora. The Brit next sparked dating rumors with singer Harry Styles, with reports claiming the former One Direction star was chasing after the model. "He really likes her and has been saying that he wants to be exclusive with her," a source said.

Cara confirmed her romance with The Fast and the Furious actress Michelle Rodriguez in 2014. "When we started hanging out, I just thought she was awesome, and we have the best time together," Rodriguez, who previously dated her co-star Vin Diesel, said about the English model.

Delevinge claimed she was "in love" while confirming her relationship with St. Vincent in 2018. The model-turned-actress spoke in awe of her relationship with her then-girlfriend, Vincent, saying, "before, I didn't know what love was—real love. I didn't understand the depth of it. I always used to think it was you against the world. Now I know the meaning of life is love."
