The lethal coronavirus limits hundreds of Chinese buyers to travel in this year's fashion week held in London and Milan.

The European events recently announced on Wednesday that the Chinese participants would be making all the fashion purchases online. Nevertheless, they will be conducting a virtual catwalk, and ramp walks along with the product promotions.

And as per reports from Italian counterparts, a minimal of 1000 buyers, including stylists and journalists, will likely miss out on the event.

All the precautions are being carried out for the safety of the attendees, and the nation as the fatal and contagious coronavirus has already infected more than 24,000 people where around 500 have died from it. So the cautious action is taken to eliminate the risk of the novel virus.

Nevertheless, The British Fashion Council (BFC) are making their best to reach the audiences in China with some enviable offers which will start from February 13.

BFC's chief executive Caroline Rush shared, "We very much hope that our friends and partners in China are well and able to travel to London again soon."

However, the National Chamber of Italian Fashion (CNMI) suggests the aftermath of around 1.8 percent drop in sales in the Italian industry in the first six months of this year.
