Further, Beau faced health challenges during his life. In 2001, after his return from service in Kosovo, he was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis, an inflammatory condition. Later, he was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme, an aggressive form of brain cancer. 

Father Beau Biden Died in 2015

In May 2010, he experienced a mild stroke and was subsequently admitted to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital for observation. In August 2013, he was diagnosed with brain cancer, underwent surgery to remove a lesion, and received radiation and chemotherapy treatments. 

Despite cancer remaining stable, he experienced a recurrence in May 2015 and passed away at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center at the age of 46. 

Beau Biden's funeral, attended by dignitaries such as President Barack Obama and former President Bill Clinton, was held in Wilmington, Delaware, and he was laid to rest at St. Joseph on the Brandywine cemetery, alongside his grandparents, mother, and sister.
