Heidi Klum Reportedly Falls Ill During "America's Got Talent" Filming

From World War III rumors in the first month to the Coronavirus epidemic following behind the very next, the world is in constant chaos. And it seems as if it's leaving nobody to chance. Be it with the actual disease or just the health scare!

The Coronavirus, aka Covid-19, continues to grow as the number of infected patients increases daily. The spread of the virus and the increases in the number of contaminated individuals sent a lot of events like Boston's St. Patrick's Day Parade and many festivals, including Coachella, to be canceled or postponed.

One of the biggest reality TV series of the US 'America's Got Talent' where amateur performers present their singing, dancing, comedy, and novelty acts to celebrity judges and a nationwide audience to advance in the competition and win a huge prize found itself affected by the similar kind of panic. It was quite the day when Howie Mandel showed up to work wearing a hazmat suit, and Heidi Klum ended up needing to leave after becoming ill.

While the sickness is confirmed to have nothing to do with the Coronavirus, TMZ reported that the diagnosis was food poisoning, though they've come to learn that wasn't the case either. But every time a piece of news about a celebrity illness pops up on the internet, the speculation is Coronavirus. Yet it wasn't that this time around.

Nevertheless, the NBC show continued to film in from of a live audience unlike other similar shows such as 'Jeopardy!' and 'Wheel of Fortune,' which will not include a live audience in the coming days due to fear of exposure. With multiple events and movie projects pushing behind their production dates, like the 'Mission Impossible' franchise, or even canceling them, the Hollywood industry is taking quite a hit in the wake of the epidemic.

As for the AGT judge, she's ready to return to the show alongside Sofia Vergara for the 15th installment of the season. They will be taking the place of Julianne Hough and Gabrielle Union following their controversial exits from the show after complaints of a toxic work environment and racist remarks. Eager to return, Klum said in a statement, "I'm so excited to be back at AGT with Simon, Howie, and Terry. The fact that Sofia Vergara is joining us is the icing on an already delicious cake."

Heidi, who previously served as a judge from Season 8 to Season 13, also added that Vergara's "infectious energy and sharp wit" will be a perfect blend with the panel of judges.
