In the last few months, the Netflix original series Squid Game has gained quite the fame and playing the role of one of the most beloved characters Kang Sae-byeok is Hoyeon Jung. 

Born on June 23, 1994, in Myeonmok-dong, Seoul, South Korea, HoYeon Jung is a South Korean model and actress. Her career as a freelance model began in 2010, and for two years, she walked in Seoul Fashion Week shows. In 2013, she competed and secured the runner-up position in the fourth season of Korea's Next Top Model. 

In 2016, Jung signed with The Society Management and left South Korea to pursue a career overseas. Jung became known for her "fiery" red hair after making her international runway debut at the Opening Ceremony during New York Fashion Week. She was named a global ambassador for Louis Vuitton in 2021.

Jung signed a contract with the entertainment agency Saram Entertainment in 2020 and made her television debut in 2021, starring in the Netflix series Squid Game which brought her worldwide attention and critical acclaim as the show's breakout star.

Does HoYeon Jung Have Siblings and More about her family?

Ho-Yeon grew up in Seoul, South Korea, and is one of three children and therefore has two siblings, both of them are sisters, one younger and one older. Her sister's name is Jung Ji-yeon. Ho-Yeon has previously hinted about them on social media. Pictures of her siblings can be found in her Instagram post, where we can see her spending her time with them, and a post where she is reminiscing her childhood with her Sibling.

Along with her Sibling's post, Ho-Yeon has also featured her mother and father on Instagram to celebrate Father's Day and Mother's Day. In 2018 she shared a series of family snaps as she opened up about missing her family on Father's Day. 

Jung Ho-Yeon who has $4 Million worth, hasn't revealed much about her family online as well, but she did appear in an interview alongside her grandmother and mother. In the interview, she admitted that her grandmother had collected fashion magazines on the cover, such as Vogue and Harper's Bazaar.

Is HoYeon Jung in a relationship?

Yes, the model turned star has been in a relationship with the actor Lee Dong-hwi since 2016; the actor is renowned for his supporting roles in  The Handmaiden (2016), Confidential Assignment (2017), and New Trial (2017), Lee starred in Extreme Job (2019) as well which is the second highest-grossing South Korean film in history.

It has been reported that Ho-Yeon has been nominated for Asia Artist Awards in the category of Female Actress Popularity, which undoubtedly came from her portrayal of Kang Sae-byeok in Squid Game; Ho-Yeon became the most followed South Korean actress on Instagram within a matter of weeks, her followers' count went up from 400,000 to 20 million, and it seems to keep on rising.
