Chinese actor Jet Li turned 57 on Sunday, April 26, and he subsequently took to social media to post rare pictures of his wife, retired actress Nina Li Chi, who made a rare appearance.
On Sunday, Li took to social media to display appreciation for all the birthday wishes, writing: "This year, I wish that the world heals and is able to come together as one during our fight against #Covid-19."
The actor continued, "I also wish that you are all happy and healthy. I am so grateful to be safely in quarantine with my family."
Previously, Li and his wife Nina were identified together in one of the publicly released pictures from Paris; however, the date the photo was taken remains unclear. Later, the couple appeared together in a rare image alongside their two daughters; Jane, 20, and Jada, 17.
Just as Li, Nina used to be involved in the acting industry. In fact, the 58-year-old former actress was known for carrying a sexy image in numerous movies in the 1980s. Later, she quit the profession in 1992 and hardly ever made public appearances since.
The couple first met on the set of the 1989 Hong Kong action film 'Dragon Fight.' A decade later, the actors tied the knot in 1999, and since then, Nina rarely ever featured publicly.
Previously, the 'Fearless' actor was married to Chinese actress and 'Kids from Shaolin' co-star, Huang Qiuyan, with whom he shares two daughters, Si and Taimi. They were married for three years upon exchanging vows in 1987 before deciding to separate in 1990.
