Jonathan Banks is Returning for 'El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie.' Walter White Next?

Jonathan Banks let it slip he is coming back in the movie El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie.

We are mere days away from the release of the highly anticipated and waited for over six years movie about the ending of 'Breaking Bad' and people are excited. Well, to be honest, people were excited since the day the people involved in the show floated the possibility of a film.

We knew the movie, if there was one in production, would follow 'Jesse Pinkman' and his escape from captivity which we saw at the end of the season five finale. 'Walter White' was most probably dead with the last scene we saw in the trailer was the meth-lord lying face up inside a lab in the Aryan Brothers’ compound with the police moving in to arrest him.

The movie was only a dream for most fans and every year fans were like this was the year the movie is going to debut, but it was not the case with almost everyone who would possibly be involved, denying or saying maybe it will happen. There was no confirmation for the movie until the end of last month when all of a sudden Bob Odenkirk said they already finished filming the movie and he was surprised no one knew about any of it. The placeholder card in Netflix also appeared and then the teaser for the film with Skinny Pete arrived, to the jubilation of everyone in the world.

Then the speculations started as to who else of the former cast is going to make a comeback in the movie. We got confirmation one of the fan favorites is making a comeback, and now Jonathan Banks let it slip at Emmy’s red carpet he is also making a comeback in the film.

The actor was stopped by the people working for ET Canada and was asked if he was involved in any way with the upcoming movie, the actor said, “Yes. They’ll hit me in the head for saying this, but yes. Why not? None of those guys hit very hard anyway.”

Okay! So now we are going crazy, Jonathan Banks character, 'Mike Ehrmantraut' was killed in the final season by Walter, and now we are wracking our brains about how the comeback is possible. To be honest, we are not big fans of flashback scenes, and since Mike definitely died in the fifth season, it is safe to say there will be a flashback involving Mike.

But the thing is, this also opens the door for a possible 'Walter White' return in the movie. Bryan Cranston said the 'movie was happening, but he was not part of it in any way when he was asked at the start of the year. Since everyone involved in the movie lied while making the film, we are not taking Bryan at his word. So, maybe, expect to see Bryan in the 'El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie,' if Mike is coming back then the biggest devil in Jesse’s life is also going to make a comeback we are sure of it.
