Kai Havertz Hopeful And Positive After A Difficult Start At Chelsea

Chelsea's big summer signing Kai Havertz is positive about his Chelsea journey, despite a very tough start.

Kai Havertz, the next big thing in German football, was huge and hyped signing for English giants Chelsea in summer 2020. The London club signed him for a whopping sum of $96 million from Bayer Leverkusen.

Chelsea's expectations and output from the German forward were huge, but the London side has been let down massively as the 21-year-old hasn't been able to live up to the standards he once defined.

With just one Premier League goal, the talented footballer has faced several difficulties in England. He even suffered from CoronaVirus earlier on that deteriorated his form so much that it even led him not to make it in tee starting eleven.

It would be unwise for the German if he thought that his performances at Chelsea were acceptable. However, lately, the attacker slowly looks to come back to his very best. He was an integral member of the side's win against Atletico Madrid last week.

Havertz remains hopeful that he can turn his difficult start at England around with the crunch part of the football season coming up in the next few weeks. He said how he doesn't 'want to overthink those negative impressions from the past.'

If Chelsea aims to progress further higher in the Champions League this season, there is no doubt that Kai Havertz needs to step up further and start contributing more, just like he hopes to.
