Who is Kelly Ripa's husband? The actress has been married for over two decades. 

Actress Kelly Ripa's love story and her life with her husband, Mark Consuelos, will make you want to believe in destined love. The pair have been married for more than two decades and can't stop gushing about each other to this day. Ripa is best known for her credits in All My Children, Hope & Faith, and Marvin's Room.  

Kelly Maria Ripa was born on October 2, 1970, in Berlin, New Jersey. She started her acting career on local TV gigs and launched her career as a dancer on the reality show Dancin' On Air. In addition, Ripa is also an acclaimed talk show host and television producer. She was named one of the most influential people in the media.

Ripa's husband, Consuelos, is an actor. You might recall the Latin-American actor from the famous sitcom All My Children, where he portrayed Mateo Santos. Much recently, the actor amassed a massive fan following after playing the hot antagonist Hiram Lodge on The CW drama Riverdale. Ripa and Consuelos played spouses on All My Children in 1995 and translated the onscreen romance into their real-life.

Ripa, 51, who auditioned Mark for the role of Santos, recalls, "It was love at first glance. The actress details the almost-psychic feeling she felt the moment she laid her eyes on Mark. "When I saw him, the photograph of him, I saw my entire future with him flash before as I saw it, said Ripa, adding, "I didn't use to believe in any of that and now I do because of that moment."

While Ripa was crushing hard on her co-star, Consuelos, who, on the other hand, thought Ripa was out of his league. The Riverdale actor shared he thought she was adorable, hot and sexy and all that stuff, But I was very focused–I didn't think I had a chance with her, so I wasn't focused on that."

"We fell in love long before our characters fell in love, but we were around each other a lot," confessed Mark. The couple tied the knots in a very romantic yet simple ceremony in May 1996. The couple eloped in Vegas and got hitched in what may seem like an impulsive move, but Ripa explains, "It was a great wedding," she adds; it just seemed like it was supposed to happen that way."

Ripa and Consuelos welcomed their firstborn son Michael in 1997, their second kid, daughter Lola, in 2001, and had their last son, Joaquin, in 2003. The actress/dancer couldn't be more content with her family life, and she credits the sitcom All My Children for shaping her career and her personal life. Ripa recently reflected on motherhood and got candid about her children.

The 51 years old actress terribly misses the day when her children would fit in her arms. The mother of three can't get over how fast her children are growing up. On Thursday's episode of her and Ryan Seacrest's show Live With Kelly and Ryan, Ripa shares how she feels she had her last son, Joaquin, just yesterday, and today, he has turned 19. "It doesn't make sense," says Ripa.

Ripa's oldest, Michael, 24, graduated from Tisch School of Arts in May 2020, and her daughter Lola is studying at NYU. The television host dropped her youngest at college last year and called the feeling hard as ever. "It's one of those things where you can never be read," said Ripa. She further adds, "we've done it before, but the other two, they stayed in New York, so we knew they were there, even though their visit weren't as frequent as we thought."

Kelly reveals how she wanted four kids but settled for three after Consuelos's "rationale for everything" got the better of the discussion. Ripa recently commemorated Joaquin's 19th birthday. The All My Children actress posted a throwback photo collage of her son and wrote, "Happy 19th birthday @joaquinconsuelos, we love you so much. You will forever be our newborn."
