Meet Dream Sarae Lumpkin; Rapper Ginuwine' Daughter

Dream Sarae Lumpkin is the daughter of the platinum-selling rapper and singer Ginuwine, who rose to fame in the mid-90s when his album 'Ginuwine…The Bachelor' went double platinum in America. Over the years, he scored other multiple platinum albums, and according to Billboard, the R&B singer is responsible for over seven million albums sold in the US.

The fame of the R&B singer was not exceptionally long-lasting after the initial success, though he still tours around America and releases new music ever so often. Elgin Baylor Lumpkin, aka Ginuwine, was born on 15 October 1970 in Washington, D.C. He started his career as a musician at 20 in 1990.

This was also why it was a welcome sight when the singer settled down with another up-and-coming star of the music industry.

Ginuwine met rapper Tonya M. Johnston, aka Sole, in 1999, and the two were cozy as soon as their first meeting. The relationship escalated between the two pretty quickly, and then on 29 March 2001, their first daughter Story Asaundra was born, followed by Dream Sarae Lumpkin, who arrived on 1 November 2002.

The R&B singer and his wife Sole married on 8 September 2003 in the Cayman Islands after the birth of both their daughters. The couple was together for more than ten years when, in November, they decided to take some time apart. They separated in 2014, and on 22 July 2015, the divorce was finalized.

Sole is married to Professor Griff, a member of the Public Enemy band, and Ginuwine also announced he was the father of nine children.

Where is Dream Sarae Lumpkin Now?

There are no new members in the Lumpkin family, and all the sons and daughters of the R&B star are grown now. Dream Sarae Lumpkin is also the same; she is now in her 20s. Despite the spotlight on the celebrity child, Sarae prefers to live out of it.

The young celebrity kid holds thousands of followers on Instagram. But Lumpkin keeps her IG private; the celeb babe appears on her father’s Instagram feed from time to time. She also appears with her sister to support their father at various events.
