Marlon Brando, the legendary actor, wed French actress Tarita Teriipaia, his love interest in "Mutiny on the Bounty," on August 10, 1962. At 20, Teriipaia was 18 years Brando's junior, and her naivety reportedly delighted him. 

Fluent in French due to Teriipaia's native language, Brando conducted numerous French interviews. They had two children, Simon Teihotu Brando (born 1963) and Tarita Cheyenne Brando (1970–1995). 

Brando also adopted Teriipaia's daughter, Maimiti Brando (born 1977), and niece, Raiatua Brando (born 1982). The couple divorced in July 1972, concluding their tumultuous but impactful relationship.

Marlon Brando's tumultuous personal life included numerous partners and at least 11 children, three of whom were adopted. In a 1976 interview, he casually acknowledged past homosexual experiences and dismissed rumors about a relationship with Jack Nicholson.

His romantic history encompassed an affair with A Streetcar Named Desire co-star Sandy Campbell, confirmed by Truman Capote. Brando claimed a romantic involvement with Marilyn Monroe and Mexican actress Katy Jurado, while his relationship with Rita Moreno led to a traumatic episode.

Sister, Tarita Cheyenne Brando Died in 1995

Simon Teihotu Brando's sister, Tarita Cheyenne Brando, born on 20 February 1970, was a French fashion model. Tragically, on 16 April 1995, Cheyenne took her own life by hanging at her mother's residence in Puna'auia, Tahiti.

Regrettably, neither her father nor half-brother Christian could attend her funeral in Tahiti. 

She found her final resting place in the Roman Catholic Uranie Cemetery in Papeete, interred in the family crypt of Dag Drollet's family, marking the poignant end of her life's journey.

Father, Marlon Brando Died in 2004

Marlon Brando's later years were marked by notoriety, weight gain exceeding 300 pounds, and health issues such as Type 2 diabetes. 

His eccentric behavior on film sets, difficulty memorizing lines, and odd demands strained professional relationships. Brando delved into innovations, securing patents for drumhead tensioning methods. 

In 2004, he recorded his last role as Mrs. Sour in the unreleased animated film Big Bug Man. A close friend of Michael Jackson, Brando participated in his events and music videos. 

Despite declining health, he worked on the script for "Brando and Brando." On July 1, 2004, he died from respiratory failure and pulmonary fibrosis. Cremated, his ashes were scattered in Tahiti and Death Valley.
