Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Splits after Marrying for a mere 1-Year
One of the rockiest relationship we've ever seen finally comes to a closure!
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have called it quits, after getting married back in December, 2018.
A representative for Cyrus announced the sad news. The statement read,
“Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
Split rumors between Liam, 29, and Miley, 26, split have been going about after she posted a picture on Instagram without wearing her wedding ring. In the picture, she is sitting in a chair wearing all-black attire.
Her older sister, Brandi Cyrus commented on the photo, “Boooooooooooooom!”
The photo is from her recent trip to Italy. She tagged along with Brody Jenner's ex Kaitlynn Carter and two other friends. The trip took place, one week after Caitlyn Jenner's son Brody called it quits with Carter.
Cyrus and Hemsworth were in an on-and-off relationship for a long while before eventually getting engaged. They first met on the sets of The Last Song and since then had an unsteady relationship until 2012, when Liam proposed her.
But one year later, the two called off their engagement only to reconcile again in 2015. Despite being committed for a long time, the duo never had any intention of getting married.
They then decided to walk down the aisle in a low-key ceremony back in December 2018. Many of us never expected that the pair would break-up after getting back together. Their relationship got even stronger after their Malibu house was burnt down in the California Wildfire, and both of them supported each other.
Well, as the saying goes, all the good thing must come to an end. For the pair, the end came rather sooner!
