The anime story hasn’t finished yet and has still a lot to answer. This is the most believable reason for making another season. Moreover, many conjectures were made about the possible release date of Nisekoi Season 3 which turned out to be all false. And sadly, there is still no announcement from the officials.

The first season of Nisekoi had 20 episodes and gained wide acclaim from critics and fans alike. As a result, creators made no delay in producing the second season, however, the season 2 doesn’t go as the previous season and it was wrapped up with just 12 episodes which were very less as compared to the first season.

There are various speculations about Nisekoi season 3 which says, Ichigo will finally yield his feelings for Kirisaki as a large number of fans want to see more of a love story between the two lead characters. Moreover, some other theories say the upcoming season will see Yui-nee’s comeback and her own confession to Raku which will bring a new turn of event to the storyline.

But Why Is It Taking So Long?

Rumors have it that the studio either simply don’t have the budget or the time for a third season. Also, since Nisekoi is a harem series, not having a season 3 might be the creators' way of telling the audience to picture the rest of the story; given its hard even for the writers to choose from four ladies, all one way or the other loving the same guy.
