Nisekoi is a Japanese romantic comedy manga series written and illustrated by Naoshi Komi. The animation adaptation, directed by Akiyuki Shinbo at Shaft, started airing from January 11 to May 24, 2014. Its plot contains a secret promise that the lead character, Raku Ichijou, makes to a girl he met, with a pendant, ten years prior to his high school life - getting married once they reunite. He is also the sole heir to the head of a Yakuza Family called the Shuei-gumi. The beautiful Chitoge Kirisaki transfers into his class. They have a weird relationship; they disagreed to each other often. But by a weird turn of events, Raku and Chitoge agree to become fake lovers. Although his heart is really interested in his classmate Kosaki Onodera, Raku must continue pretending to be Chitoge's boyfriend.
