Renée Kathleen Zellweger was born on April 25, 1962, in Katy, Texas. Unlike her past dating demo, which mainly included A-list actors, the Judy actress is now dating English television presenter/car specialist Ant Anstead, 42.

Anstead, a native of Plymouth, Devon, is best known for hosting Wheelers Dealers, Ant Anstead Master Mechanic, and a few more shows for car enthusiasts. The news of Anstead's unlikely romantic dynamic with the Oscar-winning actress started making rounds when the pair were spotted outside of their professional sets. It all began when Renée and Anstead worked alongside each other on the Discovery+ series Celebrity IOU Joyride in June 2021.

Ant was fresh out of his divorce from television personality Christina Haack, with whom he was married for nearly two years, and Renée had been single for a while since her last long relationship with musician Doyle Bramhall II. Thanks to the couple's multiple PDA-filled outings, it didn't take sources long to label the pair as lovers.

 An insider reported how the Wheelers Dealer host has been happier than ever. "Ant is excited about life," the source said, adding, "Part of it can be because he's dating Renée, but he was excited about doing this project, and he seems excited to do all the various projects he's working on." Anstead, who shares a daughter and a son with his first wife Louise, hasn't addressed his ongoing relationship, and as for Zellweger, a brief statement came recently.

In her latest interview with Harper Bazar, the two-time Oscar winner says "serendipity" led to her romance with Anstead. The actress recalls, "It was around Judy," when she was mourning the death of her former publicist Nancy Ryder. "Late night and I remember I watched the Property Brother," Zellweger says," when she fell compelled to give back to the people who cared for Ryder in her last days. But instead of signing for the Celebrity IOU, she ended up joining Celebrity IOU: Joyride, hosted by Anstead. Renée says she thinks Nancy had a hand in her romance with Ant.

The Chicago star was once engaged to actor Jim Carrey. The pair met on the sets of Me, Myself and Irene and hit it off immediately. They announced their engagement in 1999 and dissolved it the year later. "She was special to me, very special, I think she's lovely," Carrey said about his ex-fiance on The Howard Stern Show in 2020.

After Carrey, the Judy actress was in a brief relationship with  Grammy-winning musician Jack White. But four months into their marriage, Zellweger filed for an annulment.
