Despite multiple surgeries, the tumor persisted, spreading to both kidneys, liver, intestines, and back muscles. Doctors advised taking Skylar to Children's Hospital in Los Angeles for comprehensive treatment. 

Her condition worsened, with a tumor on her right kidney causing breathing difficulties. Skylar's battle with cancer, marked by relentless spread, tragically concluded with the severity of the disease in her final moments.

Died in 1995

Skylar Lynnae Neil's final ten-hour operation aimed to remove a massive six-and-a-half-pound tumor, detailed by her father Vince Neil in People Magazine. Despite the efforts and six prior surgeries, extensive chemotherapy, and radiation over four months, Skylar succumbed to Wilms' tumor, passing away on August 15, 1995. 

Her funeral occurred on August 18, with Skylar laid to rest in a tiny pink casket at Forest Lawn, Los Angeles, California. Throughout her challenging journey, both parents, Neil and Sharise, devoted countless hours by Skylar's side during hospital stays, facing the heartbreaking reality of their daughter's losing battle with cancer.
