Get to know Spencer Rattler and his girlfriend: The football quarterback is dating a high school sweetheart!   

The former starting quarterback at Oklahoma and now a quarterback for the South Carolina Gamecocks, Spencer Rattler is anticipated to be the next big star in the sports world. He entered the 2020 season as a freshman with a 3,031-yard passing season that included 28 touchdown passes and as a Heisman Trophy favorite in the 2021 college football season.  

Born on September 28, 2000, in Phoenix, Arizona, Rattler had an exceptional knack for sports as a kid. At 18, the guy broke the Arizona high school passing record. In his senior year, Spencer was named MVP for the Elite 11 at the opening in Texas. Rattler recently transferred to South Carolina.

The 21 years old quarterback is reported to be in a relationship in 2021. Though the rookie professional has not yet given into the lapse of revealing too much personal stuff in starting years, several sources have dug into the potential star's life and have found a thing or two.

Spencer's girlfriend is identified as Yazmina Gonzalez. They met and connected in Pinnacle High School of Arizona. Just like her athletic beau, Yazmina is also reported to be into sports; she is a volleyball player. The last time Spencer gave people a peek into his relationship with Gonzalez was in 2018, when he shared their picture on Instagram.

Looking at their comments exchanges on social media, their relationship is still intact. Yazmine recently commemorated her 21st birthday by posting a series of stories and a post on her Instagram. Rattler commented, "HBD mamas," followed by a heart emoji on her picture. Yazmina, who has a striking 25.3k followers on Instagram, doesn't give admirers any insight into her personal life. She was honored with the player of the month for Pinnacle Volleyball in 2018.

During his final season at Pinnacle high school, Rattler starred in the Netflix documentary series QB1: Beyond the Lights. Directed by Peter Berg, the series focuses on high school quarterbacks as they make their way into NCAA Division I Football. By the end of his sophomore year, Rattler has bagged multiple offers from NCAA D-I schools.

In December 2019, Spencer signed to play for Oklahoma Sooners' coach Lincoln Riley, who benched Rattler in favor of true freshman Caleb Williams during the Red River Rivalry game against Texas. Rattler is considered a 5-star quarterback by 247sports and 4- star by ESPN.

After coach Riley benched Rattler as he lost fumble helped Texas extend their leads, the starting quarterback hasn't been the Oklahoma Sooners' favorite player. Spencer is now pitted against Caleb, who rose to national headline for his performance.
