Joseph Keyshawn Johnson is a former American football player who played eleven seasons in the National Football League with teams like the Jets, Dallas Cowboy, Carolina Panthers, etc. Joseph took retirement from his football career back in 2006 and went to become a television broadcaster for the sports channel ESPN. 

Keyshawn Johnson was born on July 22, 1972, in Los Angeles, California. He reportedly had a rough childhood growing up amid gang crimes and legal fights. 

The Superbowl champion is currently married to Jennifer Conrad, and they share three kids together; Johnson is also a father of two more children from his previous marriage with Shikiri Hightower.

 Who Is Keyshawn Johnson's Daughter?

Keyshawn Johnson was married to Shikiri Hightower, an entrepreneur from 1998 to 2002, and the former couple had two children in their short married life, namely Maia Hightower Johnson and Keyshawn Jr.

The former NFL player is also a doting father to three more kids from his current wife, namely London, Shyla, and Vance Johnson.

All though no personal information about Johnson's children is available, one recent news about his daughter had the world empathizing with the 42 years old Keyshawn and his ex-wife Hightower. 

Keyshawn Johnson's Daughter Maia Recently Passed Away 

The ex-NFL star took to his Twitter on March 15 to announce and mourn the untimely death of his firstborn  Maia Hightower Johnson. 

The grief-stricken father wrote, "She came into our lives just as we were both coming of age as adults and has been a constant beloved presence for both of us. We are heartbroken and devastated by her loss."

Keyshawn and Shikiri welcomed Maia into the world in 1995, when they were in their prime. Shikiri apparently shared a very close bond with her daughter and would make frequent posts of her daughter and family on her Instagram. 

Nor Shikiri neither anyone in the family has yet revealed the cause of death. But the family has requested people and media to respect their privacy in these hard times.

Apart from Maia's parents, her 23-year-old brother Keyshawn jr has also penned an emotional goodbye to his sister. He writes about how Maia had been a role model for him and how she was the coolest person and sister ever. 

Upon revelation of the devastating news, fans and Keyshawn's former colleagues have been outpouring the family with love and condolence on Twitter.

Who Is Keyshawn Johnson's Current Wife? 

Johnson and ex-wife Hightower's divorce was finalized in 2002, and following their split, Hightower tied knots with Belah Gaskin, and Keyshawn moved on with his current wife, Jennifer Conrad. They both have remained in their marriages all these years, so maybe their split was for the better.

Keyshawn and Jennifer Conrad dated for a while and finally got married in a four-day beach wedding in New-Port Beach, California, in August 2014.

The former basketball player's marriage with Jennifer wasn't going smooth either as the latter had filed for divorce just three months into the marriage, and he was even accused of infidelity.
