Zayn Malik Couldn't Be More Excited About Welcoming Baby with Gigi Hadid

Zayn Malik is thrilled about becoming a father pretty soon.

Zayn Malik "couldn't be more thrilled" to become a father for the first time with his girlfriend, Gigi Hadid. The couple is expecting their first child together after Hadid confirmed her pregnancy in the latest episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

A source told US Weekly, "Zayn has always been so into Gigi, and she's always been such a big part of his life. Even when there were times that they weren't a couple, the love was still very much there."

The former One Direction star would not stop talking about his love for Hadid to his friends and how much he cared about her even when they weren't together. The insider added Zayn, 35, was pretty hopeful he would get back together with Hadid, 25. As a matter of fact, they're reportedly "solid" ahead of the arrival of their new bundle of joy.

On 28th April, multiple reports claimed the couple would soon be parents. A day later, it was confirmed they are set to welcome a baby girl.

Hadid recently made an appearance on the quarantine edition of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on 30th April, where she said: "Obviously, we wish we could've announced it on our own terms, but we're very excited and happy and grateful for everyone's well wishes and support."

Malik and Hadid began dating in 2015, but they broke up three years later in 2018. The couple, however, rekindled their romance soon after, only to go their separate ways for the second time in January 2019.

In the meantime, the Victoria's Secret model went on to have a romantic affair with longtime Bachelorette competitor Tyler Cameron in the summer of 2019. The new couple was spotted publicly on multiple occasions in the initial weeks of August 2019. However, they ended up splitting merely two months later.

Back in February, Hadid teased reconciliation with her former boyfriend taking to Instagram, where he called Malik her "valentine."

The fashion icon was apparently reluctant to share the news of her pregnancy, keeping it low-key amongst her close friends and family.

The insider continued, "She has been so grateful for all the well-wishes and congratulations she's received. She's so excited to be a mom and so happy to be pregnant and to be embarking on this new journey of motherhood, especially with Zayn by her side."
