Five years since his split from ex-wife Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck is suddenly back, pointing fingers at Garner for his miseries and even his alcoholism. Fans are pissed at Affleck and have taken on social media to backlash against the Daredevil actor. On The Howard Stern Show, Affleck made some brow-raising remarks about his marriage with Garner and the actress herself.  

Benjamin Géza Affleck-Boldt, 49, is a filmmaker, producer, screenwriter, actor and two Academy Award-winner. Ben won his first Oscar very early in his career in 1998 for Good Will Hunting; the second one came a few years later in 2003 for Argo. But Affleck doesn't have it all. Despite his overtly successful career, Ben's personal life is trademarked by his failed marriage and relationships.

Does the word "Bennifer" ring a bell? Well, it has come alive again; we mean the persons associated with it. Yes, it's 20 years later, and Affleck and pop star Jennifer Lopez have rekindled their long-buried romance. The two kept it pretty low until the Oscar winner decided to gush about Lopez publicly recently.

"I am in awe of what Jennifer's effect on the world is," Ben said in a recent interview. He went on to say, "At most, as an artist, I can make movies that move people. Jennifer has inspired a massive group of people to feel they have a seat at the table in this country." Affleck and Lopez first started dating in 2002.

Bennifer's film, Gigli, had just hit the screen and was pronounced dud. Soon, Lopez went public with Ben after she filed for divorce from her second-husband, Criss Judd. The pair were engaged in November, and the wedding date was set for September 2003. But the couple never walked down the aisle. "Excessive media attention" around their relationship was cited as the reason for their split.

Bennifer announced their official breakup in January 2004, and the same year, both of them moved on with their new partner, Lopez married Mark Anthony, and Affleck tied the knots with Garner. Affleck and Lopez were rumored to be dating again this April when the actor was spotted in a white SUV to visit Lopez.

With his reconciled relationship with Lopez, Affleck's love life has taken a full circle. His relationship with actress Garner was perceived to be a rebound affair, and rightly so. Soon after his split from Lopez, Ben connected with Garner on the sets of their film Daredevil; they had previously worked together on Pearl Harbour.

Affleck and Garner tied the knots in June 2005 and had three kids, Violet, Seraphina and Samuel. The couple announced their separation amid the rumorsAffleck'sck’s gambling and infidelity in October 2015. Their divorce was finalized in October 2018. Before Garner and Lopez, Affleck dated actress Gwyneth Paltrow.

While still legally married to Garner, the Daredevil actor confirmed his relationship with SNL producer Lindsay Shookus in 2017. He was also linked with Playboy model Shauna Sexton in 2018, and his most recent rumored flame was his upcoming film, Deep Water's co-star, Ana de Armas.
