Who is Bethenny Frankel's Daughter? Inside Her Years-Long Custody Battle For Her Daughter

Bethenny Frankel is a television personality best known for starring in The Real Housewives of New York City, the second installment of the Real Housewives franchise. Frankel starred in eight of its thirteen seasons. Before headlining the Bravo series, Frankel gained her celebrity status, completing the NBC reality competition series, The Apprentice: Martha Stewart, as a runner-up.  

Frankel was born on November 4, 1970, in New York City, to racehorse trainer Robert J. Frankel. Bethenny is also an author, philanthropist, and entrepreneur. Frankel is, however, better known for her tumultuous personal life, more specifically, her years-long custody battle over her daughter with her ex-husband.

Fans got an exclusive insight into Frankel's personal life when a reality documentary, Bethenny Ever After, aired on Bravo in June 2010. But as her marriage started going downhill, Bethenny announced the show's third season would be the final one. The tv-personality married Jason Hoppy, a sales executive, in March 2010.

Frankel birthed their daughter, Bryn Hoppy, in May 2010. The entrepreneur shared her journey into motherhood in Bethenny Getting Married. But what was expected to be a step into a happy journey ended being the start of a turbulent battle for their daughter. Bethenny filed for divorce in January 2013, but the divorce was finalized earlier this year.

The Real Housewives of New York City star's ill-fated relationship with her ex-husband continues to this day. The pair were granted joint custody of their daughter in 2014, but Frankel later filed for sole custody of Bryn. The years-long custody battle not only exposed Bryn to media scrutiny but also entailed her parents making nasty accusations against each other.

Bethenny Frankel doesn't have to pay child support anymore! 

After a recent breakthrough in her custody battle, where the court ruled Frankel doesn't need to pay child support to her ex-husband, the reality television star took her daughter to the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball this Friday. A source revealed that the custody battle has caused Bethenny's daughter to hyperventilate and experience anxiety.   

 Hoppy ends the legal battle for the sake of his daughter's mental health.

Frankel's lawyer, Allan Mayefsky, pleaded with the judge to allow his client to discontinue paying child support as Bryn has chosen her mother to be her primary guardian. Jason removed himself from the fight. He cited, "for Bryn and my physical, emotional and mental health."

Hoppy, who showed up at the hearing without an attorney, added, "I will not spend the remainder of Bryn's childhood fighting as we share joint physical custody." In the court hearing, Frankel said she wants her daughter to see her father and admitted to the importance of a father figure in a child's life. Frankel is engaged to Paul Bernon, a film producer.
