Catherine Zeta-Jones made a rare yet cute appearance at the NYC Gala with her children.

'The Mask of Zorro' star looked all elegant as she arrived at The Rainbow Room in New York City to attend the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama 2019 on Friday evening with her kids, 15 years old Carys Zeta Douglas and 18 years old Dylan Michael Douglas.
For the event, Catherine opted to glamourize herself in an off-shoulder red velvet dress that features one high thigh slit. Flaunting her age-defying physique in the radiant gown, the star completed the event look with a pair of matching red heels.

The Welsh actress accessorized the radiant look with a matching sparkling earring, diamond bracelets, and rings.

Like mother like daughter, her mini-me looked equally gorgeous too. Donned in a matching outfit to her mother, Carys wore a cranberry-and-beige floral off shoulder dress.
Keeping her hair swept up in a classic bun similar to her mother's, Carys looked no lesser than a princess. In addition, she accompanied her gorgeous look with a black and velvet purse.
Likewise, Catherine's son Dylan looked handsome in formal wear. Black suit and pant followed by a white shirt and a shiny tie, Dylan undoubtedly looked smart.
The 49 years old actress received an honorary degree from the institution. However, this is not the first time the actress has been honored. Previously too, in 2011 the actress was honored by the St. David’s Society of the State of New York for her "worldwide stature in the film and theatre industries" and "her unstinting pride in Wales."

Expressing her happiness from attending the night, the actress took to her Instagram account, where she shared a couple of pictures from the night.
She captioned the first picture where stars and guests can be sighted with:
"An inspirational evening with this incredible group from The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama! Delighted to be initiated as a Fellow of this stellar establishment. Thank you all for sharing your talents! I was honored and in awe by your presentation. I’ll let you know as soon as I pick my jaw up off the floor! #RWCMD"
The second picture consisted of her two adorable kids speaking on the stage. She proudly said in the caption:
"Thank you to my darlings, Dylan and Carys, for your beautiful words and love. #RWCMD"
